Job Description

**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, as part of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology. **In this role, you will:** + Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments. + Lead development and execution of automated tests to ensure software quality, efficiency, and reliability of business-critical applications. + Complete systems testing and create systems quality assurance testing strategies + Execute complex test plans and scripts to facilitate testing activities + Document and verify resolution of software and specification defects + Develop standards and procedures to determine release readiness and streamline testing process + Provide guidance, lead, and prioritize testing activities for projects + Work with teams to develop testing strategies and provide specific technical guidance on defects to developers **Required Qualifications:** + 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education + 4+ Years of experience in Test Automation and Test frameworks (BDD, Selenium, Karate) + 4+ Years of banking industry experience + 4+ years of experience working with agile methodology + Knowledge of Java 8 or later, spring boot, APIs, Micro Services, Kafka, NoSQL databases, Splunk, Git + Knowledge of CI/CD tools + Strong analytical skills with high attention to details and accuracy + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills + Knowledge and understanding of analytical methods used in root cause analysis + Ability to identify issues and escalate in a timely manner **Desired Qualifications:** + Experience in wholesale payments domain including wires and ISO conversion + Design and development of automation frameworks for various applications related to Payments and developing test suits for regression and functional test cases. + Experience working with vendor products **Job Expectations:** + Ability to work additional hours as needed + Position offers a hybrid work schedule + Relocation assistance is not available for this position **Pay Range** Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
