Job Description

We are looking for a Full Time Security Officer Supervisor who will be responsible for ensuring that a high level of effective support is provided to all Security Officers, Casino and Senior Security Officers. The Security Supervisor will ensure that a high level of customer service is provided to customers of Tuscany Suites & Casino and that all SOPs are complied with.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Security resources and deployment to ensure all support services, incidents, and routine logistics are actioned appropriately.
  • Ensure that Security staffs are actively patrolling within their assigned areas and in place at static positions, performing their duties as per department standards and SOPs.
  • Attend to and lead customer complaints and any conflict situations, alerting the Security Shift Manager, Casino to any concerns.
  • Identify the need for and conduct on shift training as required and in consultation with the Security Shift Manager.
  • Assist the Security Shift Manager in ensuring all shift administration is completed correctly and on time, including incident reports, logs, statistics, and other documentation.
  • Assist the Security Shift Manager, Casino with incident or emergency management as directed.
  • To report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to the Security Shift Manager or above.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Required to attend and pass all recurring mandatory legal, handcuffing tactics, Pepper spray tactics, CPR/AED/first aid classes.
  • Must be able to lift 30lbs.
  • Perform other duties assigned.

EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED required. Must be at least 21 years old. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Requires being mobile 100% of the shift. May require some bending, stretching and reaching. Prior Military, Law Enforcement, or Security preferred. Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to secondhand smoke and high noise levels. Required to have NV Gaming Card, NV Alcohol Awareness (TAM) Card, and a valid Nevada Driver License.
