Are you ready to make an impact in the bustling world of electrical contracting? We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team, specializing in diverse projects for government agencies, commercial spaces, and ground-up residential developments in NYC and beyond.

Position Overview

As an Electrical Estimator, you'll play a vital role in our growth by generating accurate cost estimates, fostering collaboration with General Contractors, and managing essential construction documents. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a sharp eye for detail, this could be the perfect role for you!



Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and create precise cost estimates at various design stages.
• Collaborate with General Contractors and manage construction documents, including RFIs.
• Conduct on-site walk-throughs, ensuring professional communication with clients.
• Price systems such as HVAC, fire alarms, and solar for a variety of projects.
• Prepare thorough take-offs to facilitate accurate project costing.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Expertise in estimation and pricing for electrical construction.
• Knowledge of fire alarm and low voltage systems.
• Solid understanding of electrical circuitry.
• Familiarity with the bidding process and commercial construction.
• Proficiency in estimating software.
  
  

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of estimating experience.
• Hands-on construction field experience overseeing projects and skilled trades.
• Strong client-facing skills with effective communication abilities.
• Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, Esticom, or Bid2Win.
  
  

Work Environment

• Full-time in-office role (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm)
• All necessary equipment and software will be provided.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $68.00
