Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location: Rochester, NY (must reside >75 miles from facility)
Shift: Nights, 3x12s (19:00–07:00)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Orientation: 16 Hours (Non-Billable)
Floating: Required
Weekends: Every Other Weekend
Must have an active NY RN License in hand (no exceptions)
Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience
Proficient in EPIC (Non-EPIC experience acceptable: CPN/Client Centricity)
Certifications:
BLS
NRP
EFM
OB-ACLS or ACLS
Fetal monitoring (including “Monica” wireless system)
Telemetry monitoring
Newborn resuscitation support (Neopuff)
Operation of Draeger newborn warmers
Laboring patients of all gestational ages
Triage for pregnant or postpartum patients (up to 6 weeks post-delivery)
Must be comfortable with full L&D scope
Tertiary Care Hospital
Approx. 528 staffed beds
Scrubs: Navy bottoms, navy or white top
Charting: Epic
