Job Title: Full Time Nanny/Housekeeper

Location: Manhasset, NY

Rate: $40 – $50/hour DOE, possible health insurance 

Schedule: Monday – Friday 11:30am – 7:30pm (ability to be flexible)

Position Overview: Busy family is seeking a warm, energetic, and detail-oriented Nanny/Housekeeper to help manage the daily needs of their household. The family includes two adults, two children (a 12-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl), and a 4,000 sq. ft. home. This role requires someone flexible, proactive, and highly organized, who can seamlessly handle a variety of tasks while creating a nurturing and supportive environment.

Hours may vary slightly day-to-day but typically align with the children’s school and activity schedules. Flexibility is key as there are days you will be finished at 6pm (after dinner is prepared) and other days may need to stay later if parents are not home.

Responsibilities:

• Household Management:Tidy and organize the home daily. Perform all laundry duties, including washing, folding, and putting away clothing. Make beds and ensure bedrooms are neat and clean. Perform deep cleaning every few weeks.

• Errands and Driving:Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, or other family-related tasks. Drive the children to and from school activities and occasionally drive other children to activities. Use your car (with reimbursement for gas/mileage) or a car provided by the family.

• Meal Preparation: Prepare simple, healthy dinners consisting of a protein and vegetables.

  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • A safe and confident driver with a clean driving record.
  • Honest, communicative, and responsive to texts and calls.
  • Ability to be flexible as needed.
