Missionary Mobilizer Position
FIM is seeking a full-time missionary mobilizer to assist in identifying, nurturing, and onboarding missionaries who will carry the gospel to people who have not heard. Be a part of FIM’s vision to raise up spiritually mature, reproducing disciples of Jesus among the nations.
Impact
The missionary mobilizer will contribute to the evangelization of the lost by helping to raise up new missionaries. FIM prioritizes gospel proclamation by assisting missionaries to fulfill God’s call in their lives. FIM’s operational paradigm aids missionaries who require flexibility in ministry. FIM’s personalized mobilization process, pre-field training, and on-field missionary care encourage missionaries to thrive as they prepare for their ministry and on the mission field.
Qualifications
(1) A mature believer with a strong walk with the Lord
(2) Has a heart for missionaries
(3) Practices a compassionate, gracious, and caring demeanor in approach to ministry
(4) Maintains a cooperative, loyal, and teachable spirit
(5) Is an active member of a doctrinally sound local church
Education and Skills
The ideal applicant will possess:
(1) Excellent written communication skills
(2) A minimum of an associate degree with no less than the equivalent of one year in Bible
(3) Proficiency in computer applications, most notably Microsoft Office, mail merge functionality, e-mail systems, including Outlook and Gmail, and bulk e-mail delivery
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
(1) Professional, volunteer, or academic experience working in a collaborative team environment
(2) No less than one year of experience serving a Mission agency, Christian education, or church office environment
Responsibilities
(1) Represent FIM at Christian colleges, universities, churches, and conferences
(2) Enter data from mobilization events.
(3) Create entries and reports utilizing FIM’s proprietary Microsoft Dynamics CRM
(4) Assist applicants in the various steps of becoming a missionary with FIM and report their progress to the administrative team
(5) Attend and participate in the leadership of FIM’s Candidate Orientation Program
