Job Description:
As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will provide therapeutic services through individual, family, and group counseling. This role requires a strong understanding of clinical interviewing, assessment methods, psychiatric emergency interventions, diagnosis, and treatment plans. You will also have the opportunity to work with patients, developing comprehensive care plans to guide their recovery, all while adhering to ethical practices and patient rights.
Key responsibilities include assessing client mental status using established diagnostic criteria, formulating effective treatment plans, evaluating the need for medication referrals, and maintaining client confidentiality. You will also be expected to analyze crisis situations swiftly and provide timely interventions or referrals.
Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic assessments to develop personalized treatment and recovery plans for individuals and families.
Participate in the intake process by gathering essential patient history, including family, social, employment, medical, and mental health treatment information.
Provide crisis intervention, treatment, case management, referrals, and other mental health care services as needed.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to review client cases, treatment plans, progress, and make treatment recommendations.
Contribute to the creation of individual and group treatment plans that address mental, emotional, and family-related challenges.
Monitor client progress with ongoing clinical assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate clinical case histories and treatment records for diagnostic evaluations and tracking client progress.
Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited institution in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling, Marital and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a similar field with a focus on marriage and family therapy.
Required Licensure:
Current licensure in the state of Georgia as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
Compensation:
$75,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
