Family Law Attorney job at Gpac Bakersfield, CA, US

Job Description

Well-established law firm seeks an accomplished attorney with a strong background in Family Law to join their recognized practice. This opportunity is perfect for an attorney looking to build their practice with a reputable law firm. Candidates must have experience with all aspects of Family Law litigation from initial filing through post-judgment. Attorneys can expect to manage their own caseload, counseling and representing high net-worth individuals in divorce, custody arrangements, division of assets, and related disputes.

Qualifications & Skills:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing in Family Law
* J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
* Admitted and in good standing with the California Bar
* Ability to work independently and collaborate well as part of a team
* Draft various legal correspondence, prepare and participate in hearings and court appearances, and provide guidance to clients throughout the processes
* Ability to manage multiple cases through varying stages of litigation and alternative dispute resolution
* Interest in and aptitude for networking and marketing
* Experience with Trust & Estates is a plus
