DESCRIPTION:  

As a Data Warehouse Architect (Hadoop), within our client's Data Management Division, you can be based either in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH.

The position will be working and interfacing with the HR Metrics & Analytics team and the Business of IT Metrics team.  The purpose of the position is to provide consistent data architecture and modeling for various uses of the data inclusive of standard metrics to be reported and advanced analytics using Big Data Services and capabilities.

Required Education and Experience:  

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ to 7 years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Skills & Technologies:

REQUIRED: 

·SQL, Data Architecture and Modeling specifically in HRM

·Erwin, Hadoop, Oracle, Teradata, Informatica, PeopleSoft, Workday

·Reporting software such as OBIEE, Cognos, Business Objects, Tableau

Following skills will be a PLUS:  

·R, Python, Cloudera Distributed Hadoop

Job Profile:  

·Designs, Develops and Optimizes data warehouses, with flexible and scalable data and ETL architecture, to support business users and Business Intelligence (BI) applications.

·Analyzes business intelligence data and makes recommendations for data warehouse growth and integration an application/business function.

·Works with IT and business customers to capture requirements for designing the data warehouse architecture.

·Provides support and technical guidance to ensure the solutions are aligned with the architecture and framework.

·Leads and consults on the implementation and integration of data warehouses; ensures the solution meets organizational quality and integrity standards.
