Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm

Description of Primary Duties

1) Assist in coordinating agency/project volunteers.
2) Assist SCG to foster, mentor, and support market garden volunteers to help them meet their educational and entrepreneurial goals that utilize conservation practices.
3) Assist the project evaluator in collecting data for project impact reporting.
4) Assist agency grant personnel with finding and applying for grant funding to continue project activities after the grant timeframe.
5) Work with SCG to identify areas of project marketing need for the purpose of developing appropriate materials to address those needs.
6) Assist Community Focus Report volunteers in collecting information about local food, food insecurity, and the value of coordinated efforts to address the needs of those who are food insecure with local agricultural efforts (including LFPP related activities).
7) Other LFPP marketing, advertising, and project administrative duties as assigned.

Additional Qualifications

Social science or agricultural bachelor’s degree experience preferred.
