Expected to develop and maintain a high level of customer service for the assigned territory. The territory assigned will require the management of a portfolio of dealers and also leverage the potential to further grow the business. The targets and requirements are aligned with the entry level position. **The Work Itself** * Maximize portfolio revenue by practicing sound underwriting judgement and risk management principles. * Ensure compliance with underwriting policies; evaluate risk issue's, and stay abreast of constant changes in policy and procedures. * Limited travel will be required for this role. * Requires flexibility in work schedule, evening hours including weekends. **The Skills You Bring** 3H - Associate Underwriter * High school/GED is required; bachelor's degree is preferred * in auto finance consumer underwriting (prime, sub-prime, and/or non-prime), or financial services is required * Ability to perform technical based activities * Knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts * Demonstrating technical expertise and relationships to supply to strategy and drive business results * Familiar with the Auto Finance industry, consumer credit, trend analysis/analytics * Excellent sales, negotiation, problem solving, and analytical skills * Must be an independent worker with strong time leadership skills Base Pay Range: $47,840 - $61,420 - $75,000 3G - Underwriter * 1+ years of general underwriting or similar experience is preferred. * Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred. * Prior leadership experience is preferred. * Education may be used as a proxy. * Perform technical tasks required to support ongoing business operations. * Typically requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. * Familiar with Auto Finance Industry, consumer credit, trend analysis/analytics. * Excellent sales, negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills. * Must be independent worker with strong time management skills Base Pay Range: $55,000 - $75,000 - $95,000 3F - Sr. Underwriter * Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience can be used in lieu of a degree * 3+ years in auto finance underwriting (prime, sub-prime, and/or non-prime) is required; 5+ years in auto finance underwriting experience preferred * 2+ years leadership experience preferred * Ability to provide advice/direction in primary areas of expertise leveraging technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results * Contribute to and manage projects * Excellent sales, negotiation, problem solving, analytical, and project management skills * Exemplary dealer relationship management skills * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs Base Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000 - $100,000 #LI-Remote **How We'll Have Your Back** * * Ally's compensation program offers market-competitive base pay and pay-for-performance incentives (bonuses) based on achieving personal and company goals.
