What You'll Do:
As a Welder/Fabricator at Prater Industries, you'll be responsible for:
Performing MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials
Operating blending, stress relief, and metal fabrication equipment
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
Preparing components for welding using cutting and abrasive tools
Performing final assembly of units and parts
Ensuring precise measurements and performing detailed surface inspections
Using overhead cranes and other lifting devices to safely handle materials
Collaborating with team members to improve production processes
Adhering to safety standards and contributing to a safe work environment
What We're Looking For:
~ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
~ Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a team
~ Understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices
~ Experience with MIG and TIG welding (stainless steel experience is a plus)
~ Forklift experience and certification preferred
~ High school diploma or equivalent
~1-2 years of relevant experience
