Franklin Electric is seeking a skilled Web Developer II to join our Digital Customer Experience (DCX) team. In this role, you will design and build scalable, customer-facing web and mobile solutions using modern frameworks, while contributing to the ongoing evolution of our Optimizely CMS and Commerce platform. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, analysts, and fellow developers to deliver clean, maintainable software that powers digital experiences for customers around the world. What you will be doing:
Software Development
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality applications and integrations that meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Provide accurate effort estimates and follow established development methodologies, policies, and procedures.
Service Operations
  • Deliver technical support for CMS platforms, custom applications, and integrations used by customers and employees across multiple business units.
  • Meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs) for incident resolution, including infrequent off-hours support as needed.
Project Management
  • Participate as a development resource on cross-functional projects, completing assigned tasks on time and with a high level of quality.

What you need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (preferred).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related professional experience.
  • Experience with .NET development, JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Angular, or React preferred), Microsoft SQL Server, web services, Web APIs, and n-tier architecture.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines for on-premises and cloud-based deployments.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
