Job Description

**Job Summary:**
As a Warehouse Associate / Freight Handler / Unloader at humano, you will report directly to the Supervisor or Site Manager. Your primary responsibility will be unloading freight safely and efficiently without manual or powered equipment. You will work under the direction of the Supervisor and/or Operations Management, using manual operations and material handling equipment for the movement of freight, stock, or other materials. This is a non-travel position, and candidates must live locally.

**Job Details:**
- Location: Perris, CA
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Some Saturdays may be required)
- Hourly Rate: Pay is based on production, with average earners making $22/hour and up to $25/hour (never less than $17/hour)

**Essential Functions:**
- Unload and break down freight onto pallets in compliance with SOP
- Sort and organize freight by PO# and SKU#
- Operate various material handling equipment if needed
- Perform tasks such as sorting, repacking, labeling, and pallet repair
- Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety protocols

**Qualifications:**
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, lifting up to 75 lbs
- Must pass pre-employment screenings (drug test, background check)
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

**Physical Demands:**
- Use hands for handling, reach, and good physical mobility
- Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crawl as needed
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Occasionally lift more than 50 pounds in a team-lift capacity
- Good visual abilities for close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
