Purpose:
This role advances Messenger International’s vision by transforming raw media into high-quality video content for web, broadcast, and live events that aligns with creative direction, brand guidelines, and technical standards.
Primary Outcomes:
· Deliver high-quality, on-time video edits that support Messenger’s ministry goals
· Support continuous improvement of video content and team processes
· Maintain organized post-production workflows
Education and/or Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or related field preferred
· 3+ years of professional video editing experience or equivalent portfolio demonstrating proficiency in storytelling, pacing, and brand alignment
· Ministry/media experience in a nonprofit, faith-based organization is a strong plus
General Qualifications:
· Proficiency with DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition)
· Strong grasp of narrative structure, emotional impact, and pacing
· Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for excellence
· Ability to take creative feedback with a humble, teachable spirit
· Strong time-management skills; ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple priorities
· Ability to work effectively independently and within a collaborative team environment
· Understanding of color theory, audio mixing, and motion graphics is a plus
