Akkodis is seeking a Teradata Developer for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX(Hybrid) . The candidate will be responsible for supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, while ensuring change management and compliance with enterprise standards.
Rate Range: $65/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Teradata Developer job responsibilities include:
Developing, enhancing, modifying, and maintaining applications within the Financial Crimes technology space to achieve business goals.
Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs, ensuring the proper functionality of the application.
Collaborating with business partners to define system application requirements.
Contributing to story refinement, estimating work, and supporting the full development lifecycle.
Setting up and automating continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines.
Handling technical aspects of the application, including change management, platform upgrades, and interfacing application changes.
Sourcing and analyzing data, creating innovative data provisioning models, and working with a team to ensure best practices are followed.
Ensuring compliance with Enterprise Change Standards while following Agile methodologies.
Communicating deliverables and timelines effectively with managers, peers, and business partners.
Desired Qualifications:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
4+ years of experience with end-to-end application development on Teradata data warehouse and analytical platforms, and 2+ years of experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, and PySpark.
Extensive experience with Teradata SQL-based ETL and analytic workflows using native utilities (bteq, tpt, fastexport).
Proficiency with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Sqoop, Impala, Kafka, Python/Spark/PySpark) and Unix/Linux shell scripting.

Pay Details:$65.00 to $68.00 per hour
