Job Description
We are excited to invite applications for a Technical Project Manager with a passion for data to lead and manage large-scale data-centric projects across our organization. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data architecture, governance, and analytics to oversee critical data migrations and integrations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and align with our overall data strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full project lifecycle of data-focused initiatives, including data migration, integration, and governance efforts.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily standups, and backlog refinement, to enhance team collaboration and efficiency.
Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and various stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and risks to ensure successful execution and delivery.
Develop and maintain program roadmaps that reflect business priorities and technology strategies.
Communicate effectively with the Program Management Office and transformation teams to coordinate efforts and share updates.
Review and ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices in data governance, and security protocols.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years of experience managing data-centric projects, with a focus on migrations and integrations.
Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, ETL processes, cloud data platforms).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in delivering effective data solutions.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships.
Proficient in developing and maintaining detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocation for complex programs.
Demonstrated experience in risk management, dependency tracking, and issue resolution within technical projects.
Experience with Smartsheet is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) are a plus.
Experience building and maintaining standards, reporting, and dashboards within Jira for at least 5 years.
