Job Description:

Augmentjobs is seeking motivated and ambitious candidates for the role of Summer FIG Investment Banking Analyst. This internship will provide valuable exposure to the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) within Investment Banking, focusing on mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory services for clients in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support senior bankers in executing mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, and providing strategic advisory services.

• Assist in the preparation of financial models, presentations, and client deliverables.

• Conduct industry research, financial analysis, and due diligence to support transaction activities.

• Contribute to the preparation of pitch books and marketing materials for client presentations.

• Collaborate with team members to identify potential investment opportunities and trends in the FIG sector.

• Participate in client meetings and help prepare internal and external communications.

• Manage and update financial databases and track deal flow.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

• Strong academic performance with a focus on finance, accounting, or economics.

• Previous internship or work experience in investment banking, finance, or consulting is preferred.

• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly and concisely.

• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn about the financial services industry.
