We now have new headquarters located in Arlington, Texas and have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Strategist to join the team. (and you can live anywhere in the country!).

This full-time position on the Thrive Social Media Team will serve as support for the organic social work for Thrive’s social media clients. This client-facing position will become a key part of our social media organic social services, ensuring that our clients have consistent activity and results on social media channels, through the integration of creative content.
The perfect addition to our team will have experience working with a variety of brands, with proven content examples and results. The goal for all clients is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement, website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap.

Create Campaign Marketing Strategy and Implementation: Create and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform utilization, benchmarking, brand messaging, and audience identification. Create, publish and share content (original text, images, videos) that reflects the client and their brand while building meaningful connections. Promote community involvement through a focus on engagement. Continuously improve social media strategies by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and determining how to best utilize the information

Project Management: Utilize assistance on the social media team to help develop a holistic social media campaign for clients. Assign tasks, review work, and mentor assistance.

Monthly Campaign Evaluation and Reporting: Monitor, evaluate and adjust strategy based on campaign results. Set goals for the following month based on analysis and strategy. Create monthly reports and communications to inform clients of results and progress of activities

Billable Hours: Be personally responsible for monitoring regularly and reaching your quota of client hours each month and communicating with your manager if there are any changes.
Thrive Project Management: Using project management tools to regularly assess each Client Campaign project’s status and progress, providing a “bird’s eye view” of each project. Implementation of the project management tool will be essential in the overall success of the team.

Thrive Team Collaboration: Ongoing communication with Design Team and Thrive management on project development, timelines, and results.

Job Skills Development: Work with the Social Media Manager to develop processes to intentionally and regularly develop job related knowledge and skills and stay up to date on social media trends and tools.

Qualifications:

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of proven work experience executing social media strategy and campaign management
  • Experience managing content calendars
  • Exceptional social media copywriting and graphic design skills
  • Experience, including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok and more
  • Experience with social analytics including Facebook Insights, and other analytics platforms
  • Active Facebook Blueprint certification
  • Basic knowledge of media relations, digital PR, and content marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent writing, editing, presentation and communication skills
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
  • Past agency experience preferred
  • Experience with WordPress platform is a plus
  • Experience with Google Analytics is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote work environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to manage client expectations and successfully overcome barriers
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Above-average time management skills
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
