Signage Production Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our dynamic team. The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality output, and timely delivery of projects. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering top-notch products.
Signage Production Manager Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
* Manage the complete lifecycle of signage projects, from receiving customer orders to final installation.
* Develop detailed production schedules to meet deadlines.
* Estimate project costs and manage budgets.
* Collaborate with design teams to ensure project feasibility.
Production Oversight:
* Oversee the fabrication process, including cutting, printing, laminating, and assembly of signage materials.
* Monitor quality control measures throughout production to maintain standards.
* Manage and maintain production equipment such as large format printers, vinyl cutters, and CNC machines.
Material Management:
* Order and manage inventory of signage materials like vinyl, acrylic, aluminum, and lighting components.
* Optimize material usage to minimize waste.
Team Leadership:
* Lead and supervise a team of sign fabricators, installers, and production assistants.
* Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities based on project requirements.
* Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
Customer Interaction:
* Communicate project updates and address concerns with clients.
* Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and project scope.
Installation Management:
* Coordinate on-site installation crews and ensure proper sign placement.
* Address any installation issues and ensure client satisfaction.
Signage Production Manager Qualifications:
* Minimum 3+ years of Signage Industry experience
* Minimum 1+ years of Production Management experience
* Highly experienced/knowledgeable in custom sign fabrication.
* Experience managing workflow and employees in manufacturing environment
* Extremely organized and detail oriented
* Computer proficiency is a must, specifically in spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets) and Word programs.
* Strong communication and problem solving skills.
