**Northrop Grumman** is seeking a **Shipping Receiving Coordinator 2** for our location in **San Diego, CA** .
**What You'll Get to do** **:**
Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse. Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting. Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. (Un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations. Strong verbal communication skills, able to convey process procedures during audits. Perform with a high degree of accuracy while working in a high-volume pack and ship environment. Must be able to work extended hours.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ 2 years or more of relevant experience with a High School Diploma
+ Be able to lift 50 lbs.
+ Must be a US Citizen
**Preferred Skills:**
+ Familiar with MIL- STD - 2073-1 and requirements necessary to pack to the MIL Standard.
+ Able to interact with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
+ Experienced/Certified user of a forklift and/or hand truck

Salary Range: $42,000.00 - $70,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
