Qualifications:

• 2+ years of verifiable automotive technician experience
• ASE certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Professional personal appearance
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet the company's production and quality standards
• Must be able to work in Manhattan, KS

Job-Specific Responsibilities:

• Use factory specifications for all repairs
• Provide excellent customer service
• Complete repair work within the allotted time
• Submit parts requests promptly
• Keep the service writer or service manager informed of any delays
• Assist the service writer as needed
• Maintain a clean and efficient work area
• Keep paperwork completed and filed after each job
• Stay current with training programs
• Ensure the vehicle is cleaner when the job is completed
• Make each job thorough and complete to reduce return repairs
• Thoroughly inspect vehicles and make recommendations
