Senior Tax Manager (CPA) - Public Accounting | Hybrid Work Option

A respected Plano, Texas CPA firm seeks an experienced Senior Tax Manager to lead client engagements, mentor staff, and drive excellence in tax services. This role combines technical expertise with leadership opportunities in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Spearhead complex tax projects and compliance initiatives for diverse client portfolio
• Execute high-level tax planning strategies and projections for individuals and businesses
• Review and optimize complex tax returns to ensure maximum client benefit
• Conduct comprehensive tax research and provide authoritative guidance
• Oversee quality control in financial reporting and accounting processes
• Develop and mentor junior staff members to build team capabilities
• Partner with firm leadership on strategic growth initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Active CPA license required
• 3+ years public accounting experience with focused tax expertise
• Demonstrated mastery of GAAP and tax compliance regulations
• Strong project management and analytical capabilities
• Proficiency in tax software and financial systems
• Excellence in client communication and team leadership
