1)Job Title: Senior Level Scrum Master
Location: Remote AZ preferred
We are looking for a Scrum Master with experience in managing both traditional waterfall and agile project methodologies, particularly within the infrastructure space. Healthcare is a bonus. This individual will be responsible for facilitating and supporting agile practices, leading scrum ceremonies, and helping teams to deliver infrastructure projects on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Coaching: Guide and support teams in adopting and improving agile practices, ensuring smooth transitions between waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Facilitation of Scrum Ceremonies: Lead and facilitate key scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment on project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Project Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure projects are delivered successfully, on time, and within scope.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and help resolve blockers or impediments that may hinder team progress, ensuring timely delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly assessing team performance and recommending areas for optimization.
- Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and sprint progress, providing insights to leadership and stakeholders.
- Process Integration: Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of agile practices into infrastructure project workflows.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify risks within projects and work with teams to create mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role, with a strong foundation in both waterfall and agile project methodologies.
- Infrastructure Project Management: Experience in managing or supporting infrastructure projects (e.g., server deployments, network upgrades, cloud migrations, etc.).
- Leadership Skills: Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and build strong relationships across departments.
- Problem Solving: Ability to remove obstacles and provide solutions to keep projects on track.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a hybrid project environment that includes both waterfall and agile approaches.
- Tools: Familiarity with agile tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Jira, Trello, or similar platforms; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
