The  Security Supervisor will report to the Director of security and will oversee daily  security operations, ensuring the safety of guests, employees, and property. This role involves managing the  security team, responding to incidents, and maintaining a secure and welcoming environment. This role requires a combination of indoor and outdoor duties, including exposure to varying weather conditions.  Availability is required on weekends, evenings, overnight and holidays.

The hourly rate for this position is $26.00 - $29.90

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support the  security team, ensuring all duties are performed effectively.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify and address security or safety concerns.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and guest complaints, taking appropriate action.
• Monitor and review surveillance systems for any suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Train and mentor security officers, fostering a culture of professionalism and accountability.
• Prepare and review incident reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Coordinate with other departments to address safety concerns and operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and local regulations.
• Handle escalated situations professionally and diplomatically.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in  security or management preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in security or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
• Physical capability to patrol large areas, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
