There are many reasons to build your career at Carter's. **How You'll Make an Impact** The Custodian is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the Distribution Center, including offices, restrooms, and other areas as assigned. + Efficiently handle tasks to include cleaning of offices, break rooms, break areas, restrooms and other areas as assigned. + Maintain an adequate cleaning supply inventory. + Communicate inventory needs of cleaning supplies to the maintenance department. + Wear appropriate safety equipment/work boots and gloves as required. + Complete additional distribution functions as instructed including the support of maintenance activities. + Ability to work daily overtime while maintaining a good attendance record. + Support the Maintenance Techs in all duties as assigned including all operational areas of the Distribution Center + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, scan with RF equipment, bend, twist, and be on your feet for shifts up to 12 hours long. + Perform other tasks as assigned. **We'd Love to Hear from You If:** **Must Have:** + Team player willing to perform various job duties to support the department and the facility objectives and key performance indicators. + A customer-service orientation willing to exceed the expectations our customers. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, scan with RF equipment, bend, twist, and be on your feet for shifts up to 12 hours long. + Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others (Supervisors, Managers, and peers). + Flexibility to work overtime and comply with blackout periods (no vacation or personal time allowed) during peak periods. **Preferred Skills and Experience:** + Previous custodial experience preferred. + A self-starter with a desire to exceed expectations. _Carters is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
