Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full-Time

Schedule:

• Full-Time: 40 hours per week
• 30-minute unpaid lunch break, totaling 37.5 hours per week

Compensation: $33-$37 per hour

Start Date: ASAP - May 22, 2025

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. This is a full-time itinerant position, requiring travel throughout the district. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to students, helping them achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
• Adapt and modify activities to meet the needs of students with diverse abilities

Requirements:

• Valid Arizona COTA license
• IVP Fingerprinting Card
• Ability to travel throughout the district (no mileage reimbursement provided)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in various educational settings

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a school setting
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
