Location: Arlington, TX, 76000

Shift: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of outpatient surgical services.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to nursing and clinical staff.
• Ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care.
• Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and daily workflow of surgical services.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, standards of care, and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements.
• Participate in staff hiring, orientation, training, and evaluations.
• Ensure proper use of supplies, equipment, and resources.
• Lead initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and staff engagement.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • 2+ years of recent acute care leadership in Surgical Services (required).
  • 3 5 years of staff nurse experience in operating room or other surgical areas (required).
  • Prior management experience preferred or demonstrated ability to serve in a leadership role.
  • Cardiovascular experience preferred.
• Education:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Licenses & Certifications:
  • Active TX RN License or RN Compact State License (required).
  • BLS from approved HCA vendor (required).
  • ACLS from approved HCA vendor (must be current or obtained within 6 months of hire, then maintained).
  • PALS from approved HCA vendor (must be current or obtained within 6 months of hire, then maintained).
