Our research approach supports important National Cancer Institute goals including ensuring every cancer patient has access to the newest and most innovative clinical trials in the nation, clinicians and researchers work together to initiate new research protocols based on the clinician's interaction with the patient, and each cancer patient receives personalized treatment through the interaction of the multidisciplinary team of clinicians and allied health professionals.

Job Posting Refreshed The primary responsibilities of this position will be to help the Pl and other investigators focus on identifying the mechanisms used by tumor cells to generate aneuploidy.

Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:Conduct experiments and analyze results of experiments. These include experiments on biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell culture and bioinformatiocs analysis. Determine needed new supplies and equipment, making responsible purchasing decisions, placing orders, maintaining computer databases and hard copies of inventory (e.g. chemicals, supplies, frozen tissue and protein samples, antibodies, etc.) and equipment service records, keeping laboratory equipment functional, preparation/update of animal use, biosafety and chemical protocols, and coordinating daily operation and cleanliness of the laboratory. Maintain laboratory record keeping laboratory supplies inventory, and frozen stocks of cell cultures. Work with patient samples, maintain cell lines and models. Participate in project planning and development of research protocols.Attend meetings and discuss results, offer opinions and insight on technical problem solving and future scientific directions. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology or other natural, life, health care or materials science directly related to the research area to which the position is assigned and experience in a research, basic science or clinical setting particularly clinical trials research. OR Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology or other natural, life, health care or materials science directly related to the research area to which the position is assigned and a minimum of three years' experience in a research, basic science or clinical setting particularly clinical trials research.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases
