The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care in Labor & Delivery and Post Partum. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Critical to this role is strong communication and collaboration with patients, providers, and other members of our team.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery and Post Partum.
- Performing patient assessments.
- Administering medications.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Floating between like units based on need.
- Getting up to speed quickly in a busy unit (400+ births in the summer).
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- ACLS certification.
- AWHONN Intermediate certification.
- BCLS certification.
- L&D and Post Partum experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Not specified.
Special Considerations:
- Must be able to work every other weekend, potentially more frequently.
- No RTO during holidays.
- Must include all RTO at the time of submittal.
- Will float between like units based on need.
- Core staff is green, so facility will lean on experienced travelers where possible.
Scheduling:
- 3 or 4x12HR Day Shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48h
