Seeking Attorney with real estate law experience to join a law firm in Greensboro, Georgia. This role involves handling residential and commercial real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing legal guidance on property-related matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in contract negotiation, title review, and client advisement.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts for both residential and commercial real estate transactions.
- Conduct thorough title examinations and resolve any identified title issues.
- Manage real estate closings while ensuring adherence to Georgia's legal requirements.
- Provide legal counsel to clients on zoning, permitting, and property development matters.
- Assist clients with corporate and business law transactions related to real estate.
- Collaborate with paralegals, lenders, and real estate agents to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Ensure all documentation and procedures comply with state and local real estate laws.
- Address legal concerns related to real estate lending and transactions.
- Support clients in navigating complex real estate deals and agreements.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed attorney in the state of Georgia.
- Experience in real estate law, including residential and commercial transactions.
- Proficiency in drafting and negotiating real estate contracts.
- Expertise in conducting title reviews and handling title-related issues.
- Familiarity with Georgia zoning laws, permitting processes, and property development regulations.
- Strong understanding of real estate closing procedures and documentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, lenders, and other professionals.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
