To achieve our vision, we seek a Reading Specialist with a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3+ years of experience in teaching literacy and driving student growth. The ideal candidate is passionate about equipping both teachers and scholars with the tools to master reading, fluent in evidence-based instructional practices, and committed to ensuring that every classroom reflects iPrep’s core values of Service, Optimism, Agency, Resilience, and Pride.

We are hiring for a January start date. The salary range for this position is between $56,744 and $72,353. New hires can expect to be brought into the organization at a salary at or near the start of the range, depending on relevant experience, teacher certification status, and internal equity. Compensation is based on our salary scales and is not negotiable.

Requirements

ACHIEVE IMPACTFUL OUTCOMES

• Deeply understand and master iPrep’s literacy framework—grounded in the Science of Reading—and ensure its consistent, high-quality implementation across classrooms. Build teacher expertise in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension through modeling, co-teaching, and targeted feedback.
• Drive excellence in literacy outcomes by planning and facilitating professional development focused on evidence-based reading instruction, data-driven decision making, and culturally responsive practices that meet the needs of all learners.
• Lead the coordination and analysis of reading assessments, including screeners, diagnostics, and progress monitoring tools, to evaluate student growth and inform instructional adjustments. Support teachers in using this data to close gaps, extend learning, and celebrate progress.
• Be a proud ambassador for iPrep, inspiring and encouraging potential families to become part of our thriving iPrep community.
