Quality Data Analyst Singing River Health System Hospital - Pascagoula | Part-Time | 8am-4:30pm | United States
Position Overview: The Quality Data Analyst must be knowledgeable in healthcare and business analytics. They must understand patient safety aspects as well as the business needs of a hospital and how to use data to achieve those needs. Duties include organizing and managing large and varied data sets, analyzing data and communicating findings through the use of data visualization and detailed reports. The Quality Data Analyst must use data in creative ways to reach patient safety and business goals. The Quality Data Analyst must excel in project management and be proficient at managing multiple tasks. He/She must demonstrate effective verbal communication skills, being able to communicate in a tactful, pleasant, articulate, and professional manner. The Quality Data Analyst must demonstrate effective written communication skills to include excellent skills in writing, editing, and creating presentations.

Supervises: None Physical Demands: Work is mainly sedentary: involves sitting most of the time with regular requirements to move about the office, move about the facility, and travel to another facility within the Singing River Health System service area. Work involves exerting a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Work involves using repetitive motions: substantial movements of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers while operating standard office equipment such as computer keyboard, copier, and 10-key. Mental Demands: Must demonstrate communication/speaking/enunciation skills to receive and give information in person and by telephone. Strong grasp of the English language, including professional written and oral communication skills and the proper use of grammar. Must possess emotional stability conductive to dealing with high stress levels. Must demonstrate ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Must demonstrate mathematical, reasoning/decision making, and organization skills. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment as well as work independently with minimal direction. Special Demands: Must be able to type with minimal errors. Must demonstrate proficient knowledge and skill in operating a computer and utilizing Microsoft office applications to include: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Job may require traveling throughout the Singing River Health System service area - with the employee providing his/her own transportation. Must have a valid driver's license.
