Join Kellanova as a Quality and Food Safety Manager in our Jackson, TN, facility. In this role you will lead and oversee quality assurance, food safety and sanitation programs for your assigned business unit. Use your knowledge in quality, food safety and sanitation systems to enable capability building, drive decision making and provide leadership to the site. You will lead your team by driving strategic initiatives aimed at increasing food safety, quality and sanitation at all levels of our operations.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage Quality, Food Safety and Sanitation –  Lead quality, food safety and sanitation programs for your assigned business unit. You will ensure that the business unit meets all required laws, regulations, and corporate policies. With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll drive a high degree of operational management and execution for our products.  
• Strengthen Partnerships –  Collaborate with the Quality and Food Safety Director and Compliance Leader to assure successful program implementations and the use of standard work processes. You’ll also work closely with the business unit leadership team and other plant employees to ensure compliance and identify quality and food safety risks.
• Manage People –  Supervise a team of leaders and technician with quality, food safety and sanitation responsibilities in a 24/7 operation. You’ll develop, inspire, and energize your team towards a high standard of performance and self-accountability.  
• Oversee Successful Audits –  Take particular care in maintaining high standards, internally and externally. You will participate in and lead coordination, preparation, and corrective action management for internal and third-party audits.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or significant relevant experience
• Demonstrated quality and food safety experience in a manufacturing environment
• HACCP or other related certification
• Extensive knowledge of applicable regulations, including GMP and food safety standards in accordance with the FDA and CFIA
• Strong auditing and assessment skills with strong technical and software knowledge
