Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Instructor to deliver engaging virtual learning courses focused on Data Analysis. As part of our commitment to fostering digital engineering skills, we aim to train our workforce in data analytics utilizing the Python coding and computing environment.

Duties:

As the Instructor, you will provide interactive training courses designed to equip participants with essential skills in programming, accessing various tools, documenting and automating analytical processes, and efficiently manipulating large data sets. You will guide employees through handling tabular datasets, utilizing aggregation and reorganization techniques for data exploration, addressing missing values, and performing time series manipulations. Your course will also cover accessing data from multiple sources and interfacing with databases.

The training will empower employees to leverage Python's capabilities for data exploration, modeling, and analysis. Each session will accommodate up to 20 participants and will include all necessary access and training materials. Training dates and times will be mutually agreed upon after selection. All course materials, including presentations, must be provided at least five business days prior to the training.

The course will provide virtual instruction to employees at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in West Bethesda, Maryland. The program will span a minimum of four days to thoroughly cover the required topics and allow time for student questions and discussions.

Upon completion of the course, you will also be responsible for providing a roster sheet to the organization.

- Using Python to Control and Document Data Science Processes
- Accessing and Preparing Data
- Numerical Analysis, Data Exploration, and Data Visualization using NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn
- Exploring Data with Pandas
- Introduction to Machine Learning with Scikit-learn

Special Qualifications:

We require a resume outlining your relevant experience at the time of proposal submission. The ideal candidate must be able to teach this course virtually and should specify the format to be used for delivery.

Deliverables:

You will provide all deliverables as outlined in each specific request and associated documentation requirements. The format and schedule for deliverables will be detailed in the relevant documentation.

Salary: $ 40,000.00 140,000.00 Per Year
