Job Description

  • Ordering and managing of all materials required to support production plan.
  • Issuing and maintaining P/O's.
  • Overseeing the process of customs – imports/exports
  • Assist in ensuring that all customs paperwork is checked and completed correctly
  • Liaising with customs/freight forwarder to ensure efficient running of all import related tasks
  • Identify and reduce inventory reduction projects.
  • Maintain supplier performances reports & metrics.
  • Manage KPI’s for supply chain and provide feedback.
  • Assist in the cost review/reduction process within VistaMed for all purchased items.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments.
  • Contribute to the continual improvement activities of the OH&S, Environmental and Energy Management systems through participation, providing feedback/ suggestions for improvement and by reporting accidents, dangerous occurrence, near miss/ illness, good catch and environmental incidents in a timely manner.

  • Experience working with customs data and knowledge of customs legislation, preferred but not essential.
  • Third level degree in supply chain/business, preferred but not essential
  • Track record of rolling out new policies and procedural initiatives
  • Must be computer literate – Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook(email)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485 / FDA QSR requirements
