Position Summary:
A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the Department of Cellular and Integrative Physiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center to investigate cell surface glycoproteins and glycans within the context of cardiovascular development and disease, including stem cell differentiation and advanced heart failure. The Postdoc will have the opportunity to develop strong biological research skills, including mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, biochemical assays, and molecular biology. Training in advanced analytical skills will include mass spectrometry analysis of glycoproteins and glycans and development and integration of automated sample handling workflows and custom bioinformatics tools.
