Join our dynamic team at Airgas as a Plant Operator and play a vital role in our commitment to delivering excellence in industrial gasses and related products. As a Plant Operator youll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our production facility including the filling of cylinders to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Job Duties:

• Operate and maintain equipment within our production facility including compressors pumps filling stations and forklifts to ensure a steady supply of industrial gases.

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in optimal condition identifying and addressing any issues promptly.

• Safely handle and transport cylinders including filling and quality checks ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.

• Operate a forklift to move materials and products within the facility safely.

• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance cylinder tracking and production activities.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.

• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Are you a MATCH

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in industrial operations is a plus.

• Previous experience in plant operations industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.

• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.

• Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed.
