Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Middletown PA We are looking for a dynamic, motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team full time in Middletown PA just 10 miles SE of Harrisburg. Our ideal Physical Therapy Assistant is a compassionate, patient-centered clinician who thrives in an integrated care environment and communicates well with both patients and our multidisciplinary team. We work with a wide range of conditions, including orthopedic rehabilitation, aquatic therapy, post-surgical care, chronic pain, and sports-related injuries and we’re looking for someone dependable, proactive, and motivated to provide high-quality care while contributing positively to our clinic culture.

Roles and Responsibilities: - Assist with Patient education as to treatment goals, exercises, home programs , long term functional wellness and benefits of continued therapy
- Assist PTs with therapy and Treatments (guide patients through therapeutic exercises, gait training, functional movement training and mobility work) and use of a variety of modalities
- Implement individualized treatment plans created by the PTs
- Documentation and Charting (timely notes in EMR)
- Communicate updates/concerns to the supervising PT to ensure safe, effective care
- Work cooperatively with the team and other support staff for comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patient progress to ensure treatment goals are being met
- Assist with scheduling appointments as needed
Qualifications: - Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant program
- PTA licensed in PA
Schedule: - Full time (40 hours per week)
Salary (range): - $30/hour (depending on experience)
