Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Pastry Chef to lead the pastry program at La Petite Grocery. This is a full-time position (approximately 50 hours per week) that combines hands-on pastry creation with management responsibilities.

• Proven experience in a fine dining or upscale pastry kitchen
• Strong foundation in both classic and modern pastry techniques
• Leadership experience and the ability to manage and mentor a small pastry team
• A creative mindset with a passion for innovation and presentation
• Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute seasonal dessert menus
• Oversee daily pastry production and plating
• Manage ordering, inventory, and cost control for the pastry department
• Train and supervise junior pastry staff to uphold quality and consistency
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization

Position Details:

• Full-time (approx. 50 hours/week)
