Now Hiring: School Program RN - Jamaica Plain, MA Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to children with emotional and behavioral challenges in Jamaica Plain, MA. This is a short-term assignment with immediate start. ?? Position Details + Location: Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 + Start Date: ASAP + Duration: 6 weeks + Schedule: 25 hours/week + Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays: 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM + Compensation: Up to $57/hr Responsibilities + Deliver skilled nursing care and medical case management across all school programs + Collaborate with Pediatricians, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Psychiatrists, and multidisciplinary teams + Promote physical and emotional health within a trauma-informed care framework + Provide emergency care and first aid + Maintain and review health records with confidentiality + Develop individualized healthcare plans under the guidance of the Nurse Leader + Administer medications and treatments (e.g., g-tube feedings, glucose checks, suctioning, positioning) + Educate students on health and safety practices + Monitor immunization compliance and report absences + Attend required nursing professional development Requirements + DESE Certified Registered Nurse + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) + Experience in pediatric and psychiatric nursing + Must complete CORI and fingerprinting prior to start Ready to Apply or Have Questions?
