Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dental examinations to assess patients’ oral health.
• Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and infections.
• Perform routine procedures like fillings, extractions, and cleanings.
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and other providers for holistic care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in our electronic health system.
• Adapt care strategies to meet the unique needs of mobile dentistry.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution.
• Active New York State dental license (or ability to obtain).
• Experience in clinical dentistry; mobile or community health experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and bedside manner.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a mobile setting.
• Passion for patient-centered care and serving diverse populations.
