WSP has an immediate need for an IT Depot Technician based in our Ephrata, PA office . As the IT Depot Technician you will be responsible for maintaining depot inventory of both new and used laptops, imaging laptops, configuring and installing software, and shipping the laptops all across the United States. This is not a remote-work position, and the ideal candidate will be in commuting distance of Ephrata, PA.
Your Impact
Install and configure software on PCs.
Perform basic troubleshooting on hardware.
Coordinate warranty repair services with vendors.
Tracking and shipping of PCs being sent out as well as processing returns sent back into the depot.
Perform minor repairs.
Confirm and investigate hardware asset disposition for disposed devices.
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
High school diploma.
3+ years work experience.
Be able to safely and comfortably move and lift up to 30lbs.
Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
Capable of taking direction from leadership and managers to execute projects.
Ability to work effectively in a group setting while also able to complete tasks on an individual basis.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Imaging PC’s a plus.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
Prior PC maintenance and installation experience
Ability to maintain detailed tracking and maintenance records.
Strong desktop support skill – Windows
Familiarity with ServiceNow a plus.
AD and SCCM knowledge also a plus.
Microsoft AutoPilot experience a plus.
