Bartender - Nightingale (seasonal: Nov. 14th - December 31)

Nightingale is a modern take on the fern bars from the 70s and 80s. If you like being part of a small team, are detail-oriented, and are interested in craft cocktails and DJs, the Bartender position at Nightingale may be right for you. We are looking for persons who have experience in the restaurant, bar, or hotel industries or those looking to and are eager to learn. Typical hours are between 3:30 pm and 2:30 am.

Responsibilities

• Prep, setup, and prepare the bar for daily service
• Prioritize guest orders and strive to deliver drinks promptly and efficiently
• Take and return a variety of payment types with accuracy
• Assist in cleaning and sanitizing, as necessary
• Keep work relationships professional and courteous
• Demonstrate attention to detail

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a busy hotel, restaurant, or nightclub
• Knowledge of various drink-building techniques and styles
• Classic cocktail knowledge is a must
• Demonstrate an ability to maintain strong coworker relationships
• Flexible evening availability
• Able to take direction and follow through on all reasonable requests from managers
• Able to stand 8-10 hours
• Ability to lift 40bs. without assistance
