Responsibilities:
- Install fireplaces and related components in residential and commercial settings
- Measure and cut materials to fit the installation area
- Assemble fireplace components according to specifications
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as superintendents, carpenters and roofers, to ensure proper installation
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete installation tasks
- Knowlege of basic tools and power tools
- Install gas, wood burning and electric fireplaces and their venting components
- Must be able to work on roofs
- Install granite surrounds and mantels
- Other work as needed such as warehouse, receiving and inventory
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Fireplace Installer or similar role
- Previous HVAC work a plus
- Ability to read and interpret installation manuals
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
