Job Description

Description We are looking for a skilled Accountant or Analyst with a solid background in accounting and finance to join our team in Long Beach, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a critical role in optimizing NetSuite to support financial operations, reporting, and compliance. You will collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure efficient month-end closings, accurate billing, and seamless audits, while driving system improvements to enhance overall performance. Responsibilities: - Oversee financial processes within NetSuite, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and fixed assets. - Support month-end and year-end close activities by managing reconciliations and preparing journal entries. - Handle subscription billing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness. - Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities using NetSuite planning tools. - Coordinate documentation for bi-annual audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards. - Configure and maintain NetSuite modules to align with financial workflows and optimize system performance. - Manage user roles, permissions, and system security for finance-related functions. - Develop and refine financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for leadership decision-making. - Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls. - Provide training and documentation for finance and accounting staff on NetSuite functionality. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably at the Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller level. - Proven expertise as a NetSuite Administrator in a finance-focused environment. - Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, month-end close processes, and financial reporting. - Experience with subscription billing and accounts receivable management is highly preferred. - Familiarity with Salesforce integration is a strong plus. - Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate accounting needs into effective system solutions.
