MRI Technologist
Location: Elmhurst, NY
Pay Rate: $53/hour
Schedule: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality MRI scans as prescribed by physicians.
Ensure proper patient positioning and alignment for accurate imaging.
Operate and adjust MRI equipment settings to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
Screen patients for MRI safety concerns, including metal implants or pacemakers.
Administer contrast agents when required and monitor for adverse reactions.
Review scan quality before submitting images to radiologists.
Educate patients on MRI procedures and address any concerns.
Conduct routine equipment maintenance and report any issues.
Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging reports.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to ensure efficient patient care.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of MRI experience .
Current MRI certification and registration with ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT.
AHA BLS certification preferred.
