The MAA Supervisor is responsible for reporting to the MPN Manager with overall team performance in regards to all MAA regulatory compliance and business needs. Under the direct supervision of Management, the position supports the goals of their department and of CorVel.

This is a remote role.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining production standards and the documenting and reporting of team performance issues to the department manager
  • Oversee the distribution of workload to team members, including projects, as well as timeliness of completion and communication.
  • Assist with various email and phone calls to and from claims teams, employers, injured workers, attorneys, and Account Managers.
  • Conduct team member quality audit checks, training and mentoring team members on improvement opportunities. Review and adjust workflows and duties of the team members based on needs.
  • Responsible for human resources matters directly related to the MAA
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping sensitive information confidential.
  • May perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews of various reports and logs.
  • Additional projects and duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Ability to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to remain poised in stressful situations and commuicate diplomatically via telephone, computer, fax, correspondence, etc.
  • Ability to skillfully manage mulitple, complete projects and competing priorities concurrently while working under pressure to meet deadlines and maintaining strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently, while remaiing available to others
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utlizie MS Office including Excel spreadsheets
  • Must have technical knowledge of the laws, policies, and procedures in defined territory
  • Strong interpersonal, time management and analytical skills
  • Great attention to detail, and results focused

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Minimum of 5 year of industry experience preferred

PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $26.68 - $39.90 per hour
