Marketing & Content Manager [JRP-02164]

Ayson Law Firm is a growing criminal defense and personal injury law firm in Houston. We are currently seeking to hire a Marketing & Content Manager to take ownership of our branding, content creation, and vendor management, ensuring our marketing strategy drives results. This role is ideal for a strategic, creative, and organized marketer who can oversee SEO and PPC vendors, create engaging content (blogs, video, social media posts), facilitate press releases, and track key marketing metrics to drive growth. The selected candidate will have full ownership of the firm’s marketing strategy, and an opportunity to work directly with leadership and make a real impact. You will receive a competitive salary with growth potential, and enjoy hybrid flexibility with some remote work possible. The salary range for this role is $55,000-65,000/year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Vendor & Strategy Management:

  • Oversee SEO & PPC vendor, ensuring they meet performance KPIs.
  • Manage relationships with external PR, video, and branding vendors.
  • Set and track marketing KPIs (lead conversion, ad performance, social media growth).

Content Creation (Writing & Video):

  • Write and publish blog posts, press releases, and email newsletters.
  • Create compelling website and social media content that aligns with the firm’s brand.
  • Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos for social media (or manage an external editor).

Social Media & Design:

  • Create social media graphics using Canva and manage posting schedules.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and grow our online presence.
  • Track engagement and adjust strategies based on analytics.

Branding & Public Relations:

  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
  • Coordinate with media and legal publications for press releases and PR opportunities.
  • Identify local networking and sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand visibility.

KPI Tracking & Reporting:

  • Monitor website analytics, Google Ads/LSA performance, and SEO rankings.
  • Provide monthly marketing reports and suggest strategy adjustments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management.
  • Experience working with marketing vendors (SEO, PPC, PR, video).
    Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging content.
  • Comfortable using Canva, Google Analytics, social media platforms, and email marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, SEO basics, and PPC strategy (no hands-on management required).
  • Self-starter who can set goals, track performance, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in legal marketing or working at a law firm is a plus.
  • Knowledge of video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, iMovie, etc.) is a plus.
  • WordPress experience for website updates is a plus.
