As a Manager, Tax – Indirect, you will use your skills and knowledge to support Indirect Tax in one of the following areas:
Sales/Use Tax Operations: Monitor and interpret changes in state and local tax laws to ensure accurate tax calculation on transactions.
Audit: Support audit defense for sales tax, use tax, product tax, excise tax, regulatory fees, and gross receipts across state and local jurisdictions.
Tax Tech & Data: Leverage tools like Alteryx, Power BI, and SQL to analyze large volumes of data and improve operational efficiency.
Compliance: Preparing and filing sales, use, and other transaction-based tax returns with hundreds of state and local jurisdictions across the U.S.
Planning: Conduct in-depth research and draft clear, well-reasoned documentation to support tax strategies.
What you’ll bring:
6+ years of indirect tax experience in industry and/or consulting
Advanced degree or certification related to Taxation
Strong tax research and writing skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage large amounts of electronic data
Strong leadership skills and a collaborative mindset to support cross-functional teams and help elevate team performance.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
